Thanks kp & Andrew, I like the name devtools.lrp so let's use that. Andrew suggests strace (which I keep wishing we had too!) so I plan to include that as well as ldd. Previously I had some success with "gdbserver" (there's a mail in the archive somewhere...) but when I tried that to help debug the aiccu daemon problems it would not compile.
