I'm afraid the source is lost or whatever kind of bitrot we do see here :(
In the past we built pxeinstall.tgz from the Bering-uClibc3 packages with 
adding some configs.

My suggestion is that you have to start from scratch using the existing config 
files in pxeinstall.tgz and the directory structure and add the latest lrp's 
you can build with buildtool.

During the 3.x cycle the existing pxeinstall.tgz "just worked" and that was 
enough for the time. 

I agree that the situation has to be improved and sources, updates etc. should 
be available in the future. But this requires that either someone step up as 
maintainer and tries to move pxeinstall up to Bering-uClibc4 or we have to 
wait until Bering-uClibc4 has been stabilized and the current devlopers have 
time to look into pxeinstall.
