Well, I'm almost  able to use git in the way I used cvs.
Martin Hejl reworked the script to autogenerate the packages page for git, so 
another possible pb moving to git is solved.

So I'd vote to go with git - hopefully the discussion about what has to be 
placed where in the repository will find a final solution and the dust settles 
any time soon. I have no special preferences :)

Mike, can you pls add a mailing list "leaf-git-commits" and enable it in the 
git system?
Can you also enable write restrictions similar to the previous ones in cvs?
