Hi Erich; 

it seems to be complied with export USE-IPROUTE2, but the on the other hand 
_startklips (and probably other files) still requires ifconfig (this is one of 
the files we patched in the 3.x series).

I'm not using openswan, nor do I understand the changes for a 2.6 kernel, the 
difference between klips, netkey etc., but it seems something is wrong - we do 
compile with iproute2 support, but also package files that require ifconfig.

Unless you can provide a fixed version, from wherever you are :), I suggest we 
remove openswan from Bering-uClibc 4.0. I'd create a TRAC ticket as reminder.
