What about inviting him (again?) to join leaf-devel or leaf-user so we can discuss directly with him? AFAIK at least iso-images can be started and tested in VM's like qemu, xen and virtualbox. Tweaking images to do more than that, might be essentially an issue to provide a proper configdb.lrp I've also written a how-to (though admitted for a special use-case), which can be copied and used. I'm willing to help, but building "ready VM images" myself, beyond what we've accomplished, doesn't have a high-priority yet. Not to say, I simply do not understand what's missing. kp > >>> Also see >>> >>> https://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/leaf/index.php?title=Bering-uClibc_4.x_-_User_Guide_-_Advanced_Topics_-_Setting_Up_a_HTTP_Anti_Virus_Proxy >>> >>> where a virtualabox setup is documented to get an idea what is >>> needed/can be done. >> >> KP, >> Will do. >> >>> >>> Am 26.01.2013 17:24, schrieb Mike Noyes: >>>> Everyone, >>>> Here is an interesting idea from Mohan. >>>> >>>> >>>> -------- Original Message -------- > -snip- >>>> I was talking to a couple of folks and recommending they use LEAF to do >>>> some pentesting with a small footprint Linux distribution.
