Hi Gents; I've played today with syslinux/isolinux menu options (see attached screenshots).
The main idea is to replace the outdated syslinux.dpy file with our new logo. In addition it will allow to edit the commandline, at least for testing and possibly to allow multiboot setups. Tests has been made with an isolinux image. Issues are: - Is it useful for syslinux-vga based images? It's certainly not useful with the "serial" images. - Can the timeout and anything else changed for iso images without rebuild? - placing menu entries on the screen is sometimes a miracle esp with the menu hidden until a key is pressed (see pic 1 with the "autoboot message" shown *in* the logos last line) - adding Version information soemwhere would be nice, but my firsts attempts ended up in completly unpredictable placements of the entries on the screen. I'm interested in your opinions. kp
