To tell you the truth.... I do not see any reason to use more that one resolv.conf, neither do I see the reason for using more than a single dhcp client. IMHO whatever dhcp client one is unsing, if it gets DNS information from an uplink server it should write it to /etc/resolv.conf. Why would we need to make a complicated linking scenario to activate the updated information. It just does not make sense. cheers Erich
