Should be default, but could be that you have some leftover from beta
versions...??
You may add to leaf.cfg
# SaveModules
# If set to true modules will be saved to moddb.lrp and it will be safe to

# If set to false modules won't be saved. Any modules needed on your system,
#as defined in modules.lrp

UPDATE_MODDB=true
If that doesn't work, try to delete
/var/lib/lrpkg/sqfs.modules
I assume you've *upgraded*, did you have replaced initrd.lrp?
