I'll take a WAG at this. Did you setup the Courier modems according to the
leased line HowTo?
AT&F1
ATS13=1&L1&W
Dip switch 3=off, 4=on, 8=off. Dip switch 5=on for calling modem 5=off for
the answering one.

Please send the debug output from pppd, your routing table info, and any
