The other thing is you need a spare IP address, which few have.
Although, I suppose you could do this:
RedirectMatch ^.*\.(exe|dll).* http://some.internal.IP
Which is a lot more friendly than my current:
RedirectMatch ^.*\.(exe|dll).* http://support.microsoft.com

Maybe I'll try that later.
