As you know, I've been using LRP-CD for quite sometime.

Yes, I know that I had to resolve this issue with LRP-CD; but, for life
of me, I cannot remember how ;<

System time is set to my localtime (CST6CDT).

Using /etc/localtime that comes with Dachstein, date command returns
correct hms; but, UTC.

Using /etc/localtime that I'm using on LRP-CD boxen, date command
returns CDT; but, *wrong*, offset hms.

Please, advise me on the error of my ways . . .

Dare to fix things before they break . . .

Our capacity for understanding is inversely proportional to how much we
think we know. The more I know, the more I know I don't know . . .
