Congratulations! ;-)

Also nice.

You mean SMTP (port 25)?

To *not* answer your question:

May I suggest "Postfix" http://www.postfix.org (NB. don't use the
Redhat postfix RPM's, the ones from Simon Mudd are better).

It's faster (2 to 3 times on the same hardware seems typical), *much*
easier to configure (you can *read* the config files!) and and more
secure (as far as I know it hasn't yet had a *single* remote security
problem!).

Sorry, *I* don't know enough about your specifics to help on this
bit...

In general SMTP with a dynamic IP is at the minimum a PIA and probably
impossible.

I use a setup with a Port forwarding LEAF, Postfix and a fixed IP with
*great* success.

The fundemental problem is that the *sender* contacts you to deliver
the email. That means that the *sender* must be able to determine
your IP address at any time.

Is TZO one of these "dynaic DNS" people? I am afraid that I have *no*
knowledge or experience with such.

If the sender gets the *wrong* IP (your IP has just changed and the
dynamic DNS bit is not yet updated...), the sender will try to deliver
your email to the *wrong* mail server. Your email will either
dissapear into cyber-space or be "bounced" if you are lucky!

Hope this helps a bit,

Greetings
