The extended script functionality (and then some) has already been folded into the Dachstein scripts (both CD *and* floppy). There is built-in support for routed, port-forwarded, static-NAT, and proxy-arp DMZs. There's currently a limited amount of documentation available in network.conf itself. You can also get some useful information from the previous extended script instructions (most settings have not changed, especially the port-forwarding ones), and there's quite a bit of useful info if you browse/search the list archives. If you have any specific questions or problems, just ask. Several folks on-list have setup DMZ systems of various flavors.
