I wrote it to decode an ipchains packet log and tell you
how serious it is or isn't. Had a guy working on extending it
to support iptables log files (2.4 Linux kernels) but he's been
distracted. Volunteers welcome. :)
Also, as you may have noticed, the end of the echowall
rules file has a "log noise reduction" section, which is specifically
there to eliminate the clutter that a more traditional firewall
ruleset (such as the stock one on ES2B) would accumulate.
