You can either add the IDE modules to /boot and backup root, or use the kernel above, which has IDE support compiled in. > If I change kernels do I need to build a new modules.lrp ? If you're changing major kernel 'flavors', it would be the wise thing to do. The Dachstein disk images use the 'small' kernel branch. Note: The ethernet drivers should work fine across all kernels, but since the 'normal' kernels have a lot more IP stuff enabled than the 'small' kernels (like QoS, advanced routing, multicast, &c), there's a chance the ip_masq_* modules may have changed...
