Please make sure you read and followed the instructions in
http://leaf.sourceforge.net/devel/khadley/dachstein-v1.0.2-1680-pppoe.txt

If you did then run at the linux prompt "DEBUG=1 adsl-start"
this will produce a debug file....remove your username/password from the
debug file and please post the debug file to this mailing list
