Not specifically, but I have run a LEAF router on a 486/40, using 2 ISA (10 Mbps) NICs, on a LAN-to-LAN link at about 5 Mbps for heavy-duty transfers (e.g., big ftps). At this speed, the limit was either the NICs themselves or the bus; the CPU had only about a 10% load. This result is consistent with reports I've read (on Don Becker's old site) about the limitations of 10 Mbps ISA NIC hardware. ... >I haven't failed, I've just found 1,000 ways that don't work I don't understand this. If you have a problem and want help with it, please describe the problem and the techical basics that lie behind it. PS - Many of us on this list use e-mail software that does not display HTML. Messages that have BOTH plain-text and HTML parts are a bit of a nuisance for us, but messages that come ONLY in HTML are almost unreadable. I cleaned up yours to respond to it, but for future postings, you should use plain text. -- ------------------------------------"Never tell me the odds!"--- Ray Olszewski -- Han Solo Palo Alto, CA [EMAIL PROTECTED] ---------------------------------------------------------------- _______________________________________________ Leaf-user mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/leaf-user
