Because I was limited to which lrp version that I could use, I have a dsl connection with PPPoE, I used Eigerstein2beta with PPPoE from Ken Hadley. Sorry I do not have any experience with Oxygen, Coyote, FreeSCO, and Matterhorn. If I remember correctly Matterhorn is no longer supported and I think that the newer version of Matterhorn is Eigerstein, then Eigerstein2 beta, and now Dachstein. I prefer to use the newest version of lrp since there are updates to the firewall. Every time that I have tested my firewall with Steve Gibson's site http://www.grc.com all my ports are in stealth mode, which is what you want so that a port scan does not see you. The firewalls in the various versions are configurable in that you can open up ports and deny packets. Also if you want to you can add features, such as Seattle firewall. Yes I agree with you that there should be a comparison of the various lrp's out there. Robert Chambers
