Yes, the Eiger and Dachstein kernels are quite different, but all Dachstein kernels should have NFS support enabled as a module. The kernel config files (see the Dachstein-source directory in the kernels section of my website) have details on exactly what is enabled in the varioius kernels. Any NFS guru's who know exactly what needs to be loaded for NFS to work? As mentioned before, I haven't messed much with NFS...
