If you're using a CD-ROM, all the modules are on the CD, so you just need to add a line for the driver you want to use. If you're using a floppy, any modules not listed in /etc/modules are not already on the floppy disk...you'll have to download and install the new module(s) you want to use...instructions are in the README file on the floppy.
