Hi, Jim: In April of last year on the LRP list, you mentioned that you had a patched kernel with the VLAN code in it. What kernel are you working with? Is it possible to get a copy of your recompiled kernel and userspace tools? This is something that I've wanted to add in to my routers for use across various WAN interfaces. I see that you are using it in conjunction with a couple of Cisco 7500 series, a Cisco switch and HP4000M. I searched the list and via Google to see if you had posted it somewhere but came up empty. Seems to me that this would be a great contribution to http://leaf.sf.net.
If interested, I'm the one who packagized the Cyclades PC300 stuff. On C0wz, there is an old image with 2.9.8 however, I've been using a new Eigerstein derivative with 2.2.16 that has allowed me to deploy Cisco 2601 and 2614 equivalents in 1U for under $1000 and $1200 respectively at customer sites. Unfortunately, I don't currently have a box with Slink which is why I ask. Thanks in advance. _____________________ Lee F. Johnson III StormForge Technologies, Inc. http://www.stormforge.net
