Hi All I'm trying to make my Dachstein (floppy) system beep whenever a packet gets logged in messages.
I've got beep.lrp installed, and seem to have found a way to make suitable not-too annoying but still audible little noises by typing beep commands at the console prompt, but I don't know how to make the system trigger the beeping automatically. I'm hoping it's going to be a fairly simple matter of adding a beep command to a script somewhere, but I don't really know which script to edit or even if it is that simple. Hopefully it'll be fairly easy to disable later too. If it's really complicated I probably won't want to bother, so if there's no simple answer please just say.
