Just wondering how difficult it would be to replace the kernel on a eigerstein beta 2 floppy. Replace by kernel 2.2.19 Replace by kernel 2.4.x Would just compiling it on another machine and replace the linux file on the floppy and of course replace the necessary modules work? Of course the respectively patches need to be applied. Or should I take some other things into consideration.
