I think CS replied recently to somone about the GB ethernet cards. I can only figure that at least one or more work, though I don't know which ones. There doesn't seem to be anything inherantly impossible about your setup, though the dsl connection to the world is almost always eth0. You will make you life very difficult if you make that eth0. You didn't include in the drawing what ip addresses you were going to use for all the nics. So it's harder to guess as to the broad approach, NAT, Bridging, or the like. Try not to use tabs or proportional fonts when you make the drawings if you can. What are your concerns with this setup? Support for GB nics? Routing? If you don't know already, Charles reguarly builds his systems with a Dlink 4 port ethernet card. So handling 4 nics is no problem for Dachstein.
