Both client and server are provided on the LEAF Bering image. Client: The default one provided with Bering is pump: http://leaf.sourceforge.net/devel/jnilo/bipackages.html#AEN812 This package is activated by default. Refer to the Bering installation guide. But dhclient is also available: http://leaf.sourceforge.net/devel/jnilo/bering/latest/packages/dhclient.lrp You can use Charles doc for it: http://leaf.sourceforge.net/devel/cstein/Packages/dhclient.htm
Server: The one provided with Bering is strictly similar to the one provided with Dachstein. It's dhcpd. Charles doc will help you to configure it: http://leaf.sourceforge.net/devel/cstein/Packages/dhcpd.htm > I have two routers both connected by a wireless link. > One router will act as a connection between a LAN (as a DHCP client) and > the wireless link (as an access point, Prism 2 DWL-520 card). > The second router will be a wireless client to the access point and a DHCP > server on the remote network. Typical Bering applications. Also: please post your questions on the leaf-user list please so that the answers can benefit to every one.
