Hmmmm - now that I think of it, I have seen cases where shell scripts can
cause 'ash' to segfault (and I'm assuming that Bering like other LEAF
distributions uses ash for /bin/sh). The case that I know about is:
foo=`bar`
where bar produces a lot of output.
Can you reproduce the problem with 'shorewall start'? If so, try
'shorewall debug start 2> /tmp/trace' and send me the /tmp/trace file.
