> LaBrea starts up ok but displays an error message this "Starting
LaBrea: Tarpitifconfig: not found". When I lookup "ps aux", I see a
process number signifying that the program has started. I do have
entries for exclude and excludehard capture files.

If you're using my LaBrea package, I found that while LaBrea put the
interface into promisc. mode, it wouldn't "stick", so I added an
ifconfig command to the init script to put the interface back into
promisc. mode after firing off LaBrea. The error you're getting is
exactly what it says: "ifconfig: not found". Try loading the ifconfig
package, and this error will go away.

NOTE: If you're not using LaBrea in it's capture IP mode, you don't
need to put the interface into promisc. mode, so you won't need ifconfig
anyway, and could comment it out of the init script.
