Hello!
I compiled successfully Apache2, PHP4, OpenLDAP2, OpenSSL. And i did built
packages for it. I was using the uml-Development solution. Everything is
working fine so far.
Is it a must, that the uml filesystem is only 195MByte?
Then i tried to compile the latest e2fsprogs. But i failed.
In file included from plugin.h:26,
from fs_ext2.c:28:
common.h:26: stdint.h: No such file or directory
In file included from plugin.h:29,
from fs_ext2.c:28:
enginestructs.h:25: byteswap.h: No such file or directory
There is no such file(stdint.h and byteswap.h) in the uml filesystem. It
should be in /usr/include/. My SuSE-RPM list tells me, that these files
belong to glibc-devel.
Hm, not so good.
But now i tried to compile some kernel Modules. I have a AVM Firtz DSL Card
and wanted to compile the module. But this failed because usr/src/linux was
empty.
How to compile kernel modules?
How to compile something like e2fsprogs?
