Has anyone had any problems using the 8139too.o modules under a dachstein-cd environment? Here is my problem. I have three machines, all using the new 8139too.o driver, the two linux workstations boot fine on my home network, but when at the office (built at home, brought to office to install) the network dhcp on the client continues to try to lease the home address. I removed the files from /etc/dhcpc on the workstation, but that didn't help. Then, when plugging in the DSL modem directly to the workstation it grabs an IP fine. When connecting the LEAF box to the DSL modem, eth0 grabs an IP just fine. For some reason, the linux workstations will not grab an IP from the LEAF box. Has anyone experienced some problems with connecting multiple realtek adapters? Is it possibly something due to being full-duplex versus half-duplex?
I parsed the syslog and found that the clients were requesting an IP address, and dhcpd tried to assign an IP, but the client would not keep the IP address. Any thoughts?
