I did not do it since rc4 has fixes to many files that are configured once you setup your own machine. Among other /etc/passwd, /etc/lrp.conf, so that was a risky operation. Also kernel has been recompiled with new config and grsecurity so you need to switch to the new set of modules. Therefore my advice is clearly to start from a "fresh" copy of rc4 .
