The Dachstein 2.2.19-3 kernel[1] does not appear to have that patch applied. No patch is necessary for 2.4.14+ kernels and Jacques has configured VLAN support as a kernel module[2] in RC4. The post at http://www.mail-archive.com/leaf-user@;lists.sourceforge.net/msg08188.html might help to get you started if you use Bering. I suspect Shorewall (e.g. under Bering) will be much better suited for handling complex packet filtering for so many networks if that is a requirement. Netfilter under Bering also provides stateful packet inspection if this is a firewalling router. I suspect there will be less work involved in using Bering, but I am sure you could make Dachstein work too. Let us know how it goes. --Brad [1] http://lrp.steinkuehler.net/files/kernels/2.2.19-3-normal/normal.config [2] http://leaf.sourceforge.net/devel/jnilo/bering/latest/development/kernel/2.4.18/Bering_1.0-rc4.config ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf ------------------------------------------------------------------------ leaf-user mailing list: [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/leaf-user SR FAQ: http://leaf-project.org/pub/doc/docmanager/docid_1891.html
