You didn't actually say what was wrong in the body of your message. I am assuming, from the subject, that the problem is the NICs are not recognized. If that's the case, shorewall does not have anything to do with it. If insmoding the drivers doesn't result in them showing up in the "ip link" output, there is a problem with the module you are using, the BIOS setup, or the hardware.
