Be aware that firewalling multiple static IP addresses is somewhat more
complicated than masquerading behind a single static IP address. (See
Proxy-ARP or Static NAT in the Shorewall documentation at
http://www.shorewall.net).  I did proxyarp with kernel 2.2, and from the
look of the documentation Shorewall/kernel 2.4 makes this job a lot easier
than it used to be, but I haven't used it recently.
