Hey thanks Jacques for the response! Is there any reason why I might want to use the newer driver with the pci-scan.o, or since I got the other drivers to work should I just take the "if it aint broke...don't fix it" attitude? :-)

The drivers for 2.4.20/net is Donald Becker's one and needs pci-scan.o to be loaded first. See http://www.scyld.com The driver in 2.4.20/kernel/drivers/net is the linux kernel original one and does not depend on any other module to work.
