Hi,

I have set up my hardware using
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/leaf/Bering_1.0-stable_img_bering_168
0.bin?download
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/leaf/Bering_1.0-stable_modules_2.4.18
.tar.gz?download
These files are consistent.

I have just realized I mixed some distribution even after restarting my
project

Thanks
Gyula

To be sure not to mix results from different effort I have restarted my
tests:

My environment
. Floppy image from ware I have started:
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/leaf/Bering-uClibc_1.0-stable_img_ber
ing-uclibc-1680.bin
. WINIMAGE to modify and write the floppy image
. CYGWIN tar, vi to modify lrp files
. Additional drivers:
http://leaf.sourceforge.net/devel/jnilo/bering/latest/Bering_1.0-stable_
modules_2.4.20.tar.gz
I have modified moduls.lrp:
. etc/modules: I have removed # before tulip.o
. lib/modules: I have added tulip.o from
2.4.20\kernel\drivers\net\tulip\tulip.o
Error messages after booting:
Insmod: unresolved symbol pci_clear_mwi
Insmod: unresolved symbol __out_of_line_bug
Insmod: unresolved symbol gr_is_capable
Insmod: unresolved symbol pci_set_mwi

Anyhow, above errors show problem in distribution

There are two tulip drivers available:
The one in:
modules/2.4.18/kernel/drivers/net/tulip/tulip.o
This is the linux kernel original driver which does not require any
other
module to work

The one in:
modules/2.4.18/net/tulip.o
This is Donald Becker's one which depends on pci-scan.o that needs to be

loaded first.

I am a bit worried by the gr_is_capable message which seems to be
related to
grsecurity. Please confirm that you are using the 2.4.18 kernel.

Also post your message to the leaf-user list. No HTML please.
