Ernesto, StreamProxy may be the problem. This old Fetchmail FAQ indicates problems with it, and it may have other problems also. http://216.239.39.100/search?q=cache:-K33vQFYagYC:www.tuxedo.org/~esr/fetchmail/fetchmail-FAQ.html+POP3+StreamProxy+firewall&hl=en&ie=UTF-8 S15. How can I use fetchmail with www.gmx.de? You can't, not reliably anyway. The GMX StreamProxy server behaves badly on authentication failures, sending back a non-conformant error message (missing an -ERR tag) that confuses fetchmail. -- Mike Noyes <mhnoyes @ users.sourceforge.net> http://sourceforge.net/users/mhnoyes/ http://leaf-project.org/ http://sitedocs.sf.net/ http://ffl.sf.net/ ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.NET email is sponsored by: SourceForge Enterprise Edition + IBM + LinuxWorld = Something 2 See! http://www.vasoftware.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------ leaf-user mailing list: [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/leaf-user SR FAQ: http://leaf-project.org/pub/doc/docmanager/docid_1891.html
