There was a problem with the ash shell and weblet, but this is solved now. The latest 1.1 image in CVS has the patched ash shell in it, weblet should work as expected now. Can you give some other examples about things that work differently in Bering_uClibc or are broken? The problems with ash and weblet are unrelated to shorewall however, it shouldn't be possible that packets are being dropped by shorewall that aren't being logged (try "shorewall hits" to see the dropped packages) Can you be a litle more specific about the problems with Yahoo and Epicurious, I will try to make a Sniffer trace of the traffic between the Bering_uClibc firewall and those sites. Do you have problems with (slow) downloads or are pages broken? Are there sites were you don't have problems?
