Charles, The MIB structure txt files are removed because they are not needed for the snmpd daemon, only for the snmp client. I just installed the netsnmpd.lrp package with lrpkg -i and started the daemon with "svi snmpd start" without problems. Can you double check if the downloaded package isn't corrupted and if the snmpd program in /usr/sbin/ is executable? I can send you my snmpd.lrp package offlist (which _should_ be the same as the version in CVS).
