Hello, I'm a longtime user of Charles Steinkuehler's distributions, thanks Charles for the 3 years of great firewalls for me! I just got Dachstein-CD Version 1.0.2 working for me and now have ssh access to the firewall. As an aside I had problems with using a 1680k image with the Dachstein CD, i.e. it could never find modules on it, but booted from it just fine. (I tried all the different /dev/fd0u1680 combinations in the PKGPATH I could think off to no avail.) However switching back to a standard 1440k image worked fine.
Anyway, I switched to the CDROM because I now have a wireless AP attached to my network that I'll be using to serve wireless clients using IPSec. What I'd like to do is to only have IPSEC be used for the wireless clients and wired clients not use it. I can't think of a way to differentiate wired and wireless clients short of static IPs or adding a third NIC to the router just for wireless network. As networking is not my strongest point maybe there is some other to do this. All wireless clients go through the AP to connect, it's address is static. Has anyone done this or have any ideas how I could do this?
