If you'll don't find it there, there is propably none. The Bering-uClibc developers are committed to cvs and every package available will end up there. We are not aware that anyone else currently builds packages for Bering-uClibc - but we will be happy if that changes in the future :) Peters proposal was to use libc225.lrp with glibc 2.2.5 libs and use the package for Bering. Please note this works better than we ever expected, but the libc225.lrrp was mainly build for transition period and wasn't intended for use in production routers - because we haven't stress-tested such an mixed environment. And we saw a few mails on the list, where mixed lib's raised problems. > Thanks in advance. > > PD : I will keep trying to get running what you said. Mariano; there is also a src tree in cvs where we provide used sources, hints how to compile that package and a mk file you can use to build a binary. http://cvs.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/leaf/src/bering-uclibc/apps If you look in http://cvs.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/leaf/src/bering-uclibc/apps/popt/ you'll find a txt file, which documents, that we had your problem as well and a possible solution: "Compile: I had to comment out the check for gettext in popt/configure to get configure running ./popt.mk" This has been a workaround for Bering-uClibc 1.x (with uClibc 0.9.15) - I think it will work for uClibc 0.9.20 as well. Please give feedback. A last note - please keep in the files in cvs will updated during beta period - so don't be disappointed if there will be changes in the future. You're working with a very new release - but the more we appreciate your work and hope you'll share your experiences with us. kp ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email sponsored by: Free pre-built ASP.NET sites including Data Reports, E-commerce, Portals, and Forums are available now.
