Bering 1.2, kernel 2.4.20, Shorewall 1.42. Used as PPOoE DSL router/firewall. Works ok with 2 x 3C59x (3c59x.o + pci-scan.o). Panic with 2 x 8139C (mii.o + 8139too.o) :
