As info, I have a P75 with two "internal" nics (Running Leaf Bering of course) and in testing (using FTP) it maxed at around 900kb /sec. I'm pretty sure the "external" 10MB NIC was the bottleneck, although I didn't try another one to verify. A P166 with modern NICS got around 4.5MB/sec, a little less than half of the speed i get if I bypass the router and plug directly into the switch, but ample to deal with whatever my internet connection can throw at it.
