Hi people, At work we are getting ADSL, we have the Alcatel 510i modem. At home we have Cable modem and I used dachstein to share my connection.
In the documentation I have read that this modem can share the internet using Nat and is also a DHCP server. questions: - is it usefull to put a LEAF box between my ADSL? - is the 510i safe enough without a LEAF box? - can the 510 webbased menu be accessed from the internet or only from the internal network? - any other advantages you get from a LEAF/Dachstein box?
