Hi,

I´ve set up a Leaf Bering-uClibc 2.0 disk with a DSL connection. Instead of
using the "persist" option for pppd, to keep my DSL connection alive I´ve
written a small script which simply checks whether the connection is not up,
in so it does "poff dsl" and then "pon dsl". Finally I run that script every
2 minutes from /etc/cron.d/multicron.
The big problem is: if the connection goes down (I simulate that by
unplugging the line, waiting until the system detects the connection went
down and then plugging the line back) and I run the script manually,
everything works fine. But running the script automatically does not work! I
get only this line in /var/log/daemon.log:

Dec 2 09:32:01 Leaf pppd[14224]: Plugin /usr/lib/pppd/rp-pppoe.so loaded.

And nothing more.

Any ideas?
