Thanks for your quick response Jacques. If anyone else has to update to this version perform the following steps. It works because there are no structural changes to the configuration file.
# Mount your floppy. mount -t msdos /dev/fd0 /mnt
# Backup your current settings cp /etc/ez-ipupd.conf /mnt
# Unmount the diskette. umount /mnt
# Copy the new package to your diskette using your favorite technique.
# Mount your floppy. mount -t msdos /dev/fd0 /mnt
# Install the new package from the diskette. cd /mnt lrpkg -i ezipupd
# Put your settings back in /etc. cp /mnt/ez-ipupd.conf /etc
# Unmount the diskette. umount /mnt
# Use lrpkg and follow the menu prompts to backup the new lrp package. lrcfg
