Hello peoples, I'm running Bering with shorewall as my firewall. I run servu ftp as my ftp server behind the firewall. I'm currently using the ip_conntrack stuff but I'm not sure if it is working.
After some searching on the web I have updated my /etc/modules to contain ip_conntrack_ftp ports=21,8080,7654,8662 ip_nat_ftp ports=21,8080,7654,8662 BUT I noticed on Tom's shorewall site he mentions to put it in as options ip_conntrack_ftp ports=21,8080,7654,8662 options ip_nat_ftp ports=21,8080,7654,8662 I'm not sure which one to do? also how can I tell if either/or worked? lsmod just shows if the modules load? is there away to check that they are loaded and tracking the ports I specify? ftp site-to-site FXP transferring Is there a way to allow shorewall to allow fxp transfers for ftp. >From what I've read/searched on people have asked but I can't figure out a way to get it to work. I don't mind if I have to stop using conntrack and open a set of ports to get it working? any help would be greatly appreciated Cheers Adam ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: IBM Linux Tutorials.
