I'm following Chapter 21 in the users guide. In section 21.3 Step 2 when I run "insmod bridge" I get the error "insmod: not an ELF file". I've tried the bridge.o from Bering_uClibc_2.1.0_modules_2.4.24.tar.gz and http://leaf.sourceforge.net/devel/jnilo/bering/latest/modules/2.4.20/kernel/net/bridge/bridge.o. Using either produces the same error.
Any ideas what I might be doing wrong and how to fix it?
I figured it out. I'd mounted the floppy I used to copy bridge.o from as /dev/fd0u1680 instead of /dev/fd0u1440!
