The proggie itself is a secure password-repository database and the random pw generator is a 'feature'. I've recently taken to using it because I otherwise found myself with too many website logins, yahoo ID's, list subscriptions, login ID's that required a password and I was tending to use the same one.
Good program. It is the result of work done by the counterpane folks (security guru Bruce Schneier & Counterpane Labs).

Hi folks, I'd like to set a very difficult password for my Bering-uClibc 2.1-rc1 box (for obvious reasons), and I'm open to suggestions. :-)
I "think" (unless I've overlooked something) that I'm limited to an 8 character password, but are there any unusual and/or obscure keyboard combinations I could use to create a very difficult password???
Thank you, Craig
