Alas, you may be faced with compiling it yourself. Not a terrible thing to
have to do, but you'll need the development environment. If you have the
source to the driver, I'd be happy to compile it for you, although I
currently only have the standard bering development inplace.

I'd be willing and would like to setup a Bering uClibc environment. Perhaps
that'll be a project for this weekend. if you still do not have a good
driver by then, I'll see what I can assist with.

regards,
joey

Subject: [leaf-user] BCM5700.o Driver

Hello,

I'm looking for the bcm5700.o driver for Bering-uClibc 2.1 with the
Linux 2.4.24 kernel.

I'm upgrading from LRP with Linux 2.2.16 and I can't find a current
version of the bcm5700
driver. My old driver works fine but won't load with the new kernel.

I have searched the Mail archive and it seems to suggest the driver exists,
however I can't find a valid link to it.

http://www.mail-archive.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED]/msg13429.html
http://www.mail-archive.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED]/msg11290.htm

I have also searched through then cvs tree and I can't seem to find it
anywhere.

I saw a suggestion that the tg3.o driver might work in its place but
alas it did not.

Any help on how I can get a working copy would be much appreciated.

If it needs to be recompiled, the bcm5700 source is at:

Thanks,

-Grant
