Good Morning, I have a working floppy version of Bering 2.2.0b5 that I wanted to boot from my hard drive that originally had Bering 1.2. When the Bering box boots up I get the error message: " VFS: Cannot open root device "" or 03:02. Please append a correct "root=" boot option Kernel panic: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on 03:02"
I used the same procedure that is able to boot Bering 1.2. Can anyone provide any hints on booting Bering 2.2.0b5 on a hard drive? I was using syslinux 2.10. Thanks. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by BEA Weblogic Workshop FREE Java Enterprise J2EE developer tools!
